The football world give their reaction as David Moyes is sacked as manager
of Manchester United and we look at who is favourite to replace him.
Plus, we also hear from Jose Mourinho as he tries to reach the final of the
Champions League for the first time with Chelsea.

Remember the date people 22/04/2014 the day Manchester Uniteds tradition
and belief died
All our history we were told never give up and believe and the glazers have
killed it
Manchester United is no longer a football club but a buisness
The Pride of English football built on British pluck and youth has just
died
The clubs entire future is now decided on who comes in as manager

Good Luck Moyes, You gave up your Everton Dynasty for us only to be
unfairly sacked after 10 months

united fans will think that now next season they’ll be challenging for the
title although moyes was terrible the same thing thats happening to united
happened to liverpool 200 mill will be nowhere near enough to overhaul the
squad especially wages wise as rooney is getting 300k so all new comers
will want high wages klopp will not come as dormund is in a better season
van gaal will most likely be appointed but next season will be even harder
for united to get top 4 as theyll have a practically new starting 11 bar a
few players they need to gel from game 1 and all the teams around them will
be getting stronger now. ferguson was the one who started this mess he saw
that the squad needed an overhaul and he jumped ship and led moyes down a
blind alley and now united will have to give him severence pay because he
had a 6 year contract.

Well, Liverpool, City, Arsenal and Chelsea fans are going to be very
disappointed…

But David Moyes is a football genius! what was you thinking United !

Anthony Walker · August 12, 2014 at 5:25 pm

Should never had been Utd Manager in my view he is a great manager but he
is not on utd level. What Utd need is someone who can win trophies and
someone who is on the level of an Sir alex in a way. Reason I say in a way
is because united will have a nightmare trying to Replace him. Cause no one
is on he’s level cause he is on a different level to any manager.

Good luck moyes

As a United fan personally I think sacking Moyes was the correct decision.
he is a nice bloke but clearly was way out of his depth. many people
compare him to brendon rogers last season and where he’s brought liverpool
now all because they gave him time. what they don’t realise is rogers
arrived at liverpool who were rock bottom and destabilized and although had
a slow start built them slowly and put a string of decent performances in
and turned it around. Moyes arrived to a team that just blitzed the league
and won it by 11 points and im sorry but getting old or not players do not
loose that much form in just a couple of months when was the last time you
saw any top team win the league and then drop drastically to mid table in a
few months that comes down to poor coaching and management. his tactics
were medieval and he always never seemed to have a plan B or C during
matches. also the fact when united were loosing he always looked dejected
and slumped on his seat. you cant do that as a manager. if you are loosing
you should be on the touchline barking orders and encouraging your players
to keep fighting not sitting in the dugout with your arms folded. im not
even going to go into the background staff such as steve round they should
never have been appointed in the first place again another key factor in
uniteds decline. a final thing to say is that moyes never got to know this
team. sky reported he changed his starting 11 over 50 times. he should have
believed in his players and been more consistent with his lineups
especially with the defence. look at chelsea for example terry and cahill
have started the past 10 games that is consistant. anyway rant over I thank
moyes for giving the job a shot but it was a job you were not cut out for
and I wish him well in his future endeavors.
