According to The Sun, Arsenal are one of the cluba keen to sign in-form Lingard in this summer’s transfer window. Other Premier League teams like Leicester City and Tottenham Hotspur have also been touted as possible destination for Lingard.

Lingard is on loan at West Ham United from Manchester United and he has been in fantastic form since making his debut for the Hammers in February. He has eight goals and three assists in his nine Premier League matches for West Ham.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta was keen to take him to the Emirates Stadium on loan during the January transfer window before the Hammers secured the loan deal for him. His fantastic form for the East London club saw him earn a recall to the national team during the last international break. Lingard was in the England squad for the 2022 World Cup qualifiers against Andorra, Albania and Poland last month.

Lingard is in the bad books of the Arsenal fans after his celebration during the FA Cup clash with Manchester United at the Emirates Stadium and Ferdinand is sure that the Gunners faithfuls don’t want him at the club. Ferdinand joked about Arsenal and Lingard on his official youTube channel.

The newfound form of Lingard at West Ham United has not changed his status at Manchester United according to recent British media reports and that the club wants to cash in on him in the summer.
