Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and his players are learning ‘The Manchester United Way’ according to Premier League legend Lee Dixon after their last gasp win over Wolverhampton Wanderers secured a crucial three points in the race for the Premier League title. The former Arsenal defender told Amazon Prime that the current set of Manchester United players are developing the quality of the old set of players under Sir Alex Ferguson. Red Devils boss Solskjaerplayed under Ferguson for several years and he knows all about ‘The Manchester United Way’. Lee Dixon stated that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has started to the develop the mentality of getting late wins in the new set of Manchester United players as evident while he was playing in the old team under Sir Alex Ferguson.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and his players didn’t hit the heights of their last Premier League outing at home in the Wolves game on Tuesday night. Solskjaer masterminded a thumping victory over rivals Leeds United in the last game with the likes of Bruno Fernandes, Scott McTominay, David James and Victor Lindelof getting on the scoresheet for the Red Devils. Manchester United scored six goals in a league game at home for the first time in almost a decade as the Old Trafford giants thrashed Leeds United 6-2 in their last game at the match venue before the Wolves game.

They were unable to put on an attacking show as was the case in the Leeds United game but the Manchester United players still did enough to win the game. The only goal of the game came in added time from the Manchester United Academy graduate Marcus Rashford. He scored the goal that gave his team a 1-0 victory over their visitors, Wolves. The win took Manchester United to second place on the Premier League standings.
